DNR issues burning permit restrictions due to COVID-19
Effective March 27, 2020 all DNR burning permits are suspended until further notice. Click the link below to see the FAQ from the DNR. In the MHAJFD territory, this affects the Town of Vermont and the top sections in the Town of Blue Mounds. Individual municipalities may also issue burn restrictions. Please check with your municipality before burning.
Please consider the consequences of an out of control grass or brush fire and practice safe burning if allowed.
