Citizens Fire Academy

FDMH is hosting a Citizens Fire Academy. This is the first annual event with our goal to show what firefighters and EMTs do for our community. Our Citizens Fire Academy will be a six session program designed to give community members an overview of how our local fire department operates. There will be lots of hands-on participation. Classes meet on Thursday nights during the summer, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The purpose of our academy is not to train an individual to be a firefighter, but to produce informed citizens and build long-lasting relationships with residents in our community.
